About This Project
A site for students, researchers, and early-career engineers and scientists looking for meaningful technical work in Indian deeptech hardware startups.
Why This Exists
Deeptech hardware startups across batteries, aerospace, semiconductors, robotics, climate, and advanced manufacturing are still harder to discover than they should be.
This site exists to make that search easier. It helps you find relevant startups, see where your background is likely to fit, and reach official company pages, careers pages, LinkedIn profiles, and public contact channels.
Who This Is For
This site is for students, researchers, and early-career engineers and scientists in fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, chemistry, materials science, physics, manufacturing, and related areas.
If you want to work on physical products, industrial systems, R&D, testing, manufacturing, or frontier hardware, this site is built for you.
What This Site Helps You Do
- Discover funded deeptech hardware startups in India
- See which sectors and disciplines are relevant to each company
- Find official websites, careers pages, LinkedIn links, and public email contacts where available
- Build your own target list for off-campus applications and research
How Companies Are Selected
Included
- Indian startups building physical products, industrial systems, or hardware-enabled platforms that require serious engineering or scientific expertise
- Companies with meaningful technical depth in areas such as aerospace, energy, semiconductors, robotics, climate hardware, advanced materials, or manufacturing
- Funded startups with active operations and a credible product or R&D focus
Not Included
- Pure software companies, IT services firms, and SaaS businesses without a real hardware component
- Marketplaces or e-commerce businesses without deep technical hardware work
- Large established corporations, unless the site later explicitly expands scope beyond startups
Who Built This
I'm Rochan Sinha, a founder working in India's deeptech ecosystem. Over several years of building and hiring, I kept seeing the same gap: many strong students and engineers did not know which deeptech startups existed, what they worked on, or where to apply.
This project is an attempt to make that landscape easier to navigate.
